🥜Golden Milk Spiced Nuts

One of our most favorite holidays treats is spiced nuts. Perfect for get-togethers, this simple yet decadent snack will wow your guests. Kristen Roberts from Krave Wellness always makes spiced nuts for her Christmas Eve celebrations so when we came up with this idea, she was super excited to run with it. Follow along with Kristen’s cooking and nutritional adventures on her Instagram account – @kravewellness_ct.

These Golden Milk Spiced Nuts are positively addicting! Nuts are a source of healthy fats and can provide minerals like magnesium, copper, selenium, manganese, molybdenum, and sulfur depending on your blend. Did you know that minerals are the spark plugs of the body? They are incredibly complex and truly fascinating to delve into. I see so many clients start to feel better simply by increasing their mineral-rich foods.

This spiced nuts recipe is so simple, quick to toss together, and incredibly versatile! Put them out at your next gathering, add them to a charcuterie platter, pair them with cheese, chop them up and top a pan of roasted root vegetables, or garnish a soup… the possibilities are endless!

Quick note – If you don’t have any of the Golden Milk Latte Mix on hand, you can use the Vanilla Maple Chai Ghee instead!  You just follow the same steps and omit the rosemary sprig.

5 minutes prep / 6 minutes cook

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of raw, organic nuts
  • 1 ½ tbsp Golden Milk Superfuel Latte Mix
  • 2 tbsp organic dark maple syrup (the darker the better!)
  • 1 sprig of fresh rosemary
  • Sea salt

Directions:

Prepare a sheet pan with unbleached parchment paper and set it aside. Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and toast the nuts for 5-6 minutes; set nuts aside. Melt the Superfuel Latte in the pan, add the syrup and the rosemary and let it all bubble for a few seconds before adding the nuts back to the pan. Cook for approximately 1 minute until everything becomes nice and sticky. Pour the nuts onto the prepared sheet pan, sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt and let cool completely.
