Happy Holidays from Farmtrue
We all know - it’s been a year. In a time ripe with change and uncertainty, any time we started to feel overwhelmed, nervous, or frustrated, we kept coming back to one thing to keep us grounded - we have abundance at our fingertips.
Our team here at Farmtrue has learned so much this past year - not just about business, sales, Ayurvedic products, and practices, but what it really means to be grateful for all that we have. This year, we spent time growing our business behind the scenes, improving our product formulas, sourcing the best Northeast grass-fed certified humane, organic butter, investing in new equipment and technologies, and connecting with like-minded creators and professionals to develop our Ayurvedic and wellness community.
There was another ‘little’ project that we took on this year - the Farmtrue Farm. While we had a beautiful garden at our flagship location in North Stonington, Connecticut, we’ve both always dreamed of having a bigger plot of land where we could not only grow a larger portion of our ingredients but be able to share harvests with our local southeastern New England family. When Lynn’s family purchased an 18th century farmhouse and its surrounding lands just a few miles up the road from HQ, we knew it was the time to start experimenting. Little did we know the physical and spiritual abundance that was upon us.
We spent a lot of time at the farm this year - planting, tending, cleaning, sweating, laughing, learning, harvesting, and living in the moment. We couldn’t have done this without the expertise and support from our dear friend (and incredible gardener) Barbara Young and our husbands’ never-ending and unwavering support. To be honest, they did most of the heavy lifting! We are so grateful to them for always believing in Farmtrue. The farm is a chance to not only do something for our business, friends, family, and local community, but it was a true labor of love where we could show our gratitude to nature for all it has given us in the past. We are grateful for the reminder of rebirth, renewal, and abundance around us.
