Avena Sativa (Oat Flour), Cicer Arietinum (Garbanzo Bean) Flour, Cocos Nucifera Powdered (Coconut Milk), Blend (Triphala), Ulmus rubra (Slippery Elm), Freshwater Pearl Powder, Bifidobacteria, L. Plantarum, Rosa (Rose) Powder, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) petals, Rosa (rose) petals, Boswellia Sacra (Frankincense), Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender), (Lemon) essential oil, Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) Essential Oil, Rosa (Rose).

 

PROBIOTIC CULTURES

Nourishing probiotic cultures of bifidobacteria and L.plantarum can revitalize the skin and provide biome balancing, skin-friendly bacteria that can help soothe inflammation and strengthen the skin’s sebaceous barrier.

 

COCONUT MILK

Coconut milk, the ultimate moisturizer and skin soother, has high levels of vitamins and minerals helping to prevent wrinkles, age spots, and maintain the elasticity of the skin.

 

PEARL POWDER

Used in traditional medicine for thousands of years, Pearl Powder is highly regarded for its adaptogenic and anti-aging benefits. Pearl Powder contains conchiolin which promotes healthy collagen production and gives the skin a glowy appearance.

 

SLIPPERY ELM

Slippery elm bark, rich in amino acids, is a great skin-soothing agent, reducing inflammation, redness, and irritation. Slippery elm bark is known as a mucilage assisting the skin to feel soft, supple, and promote new cell growth essential for anti-aging.

HOW TO USE

 

WET FACE

Wet face with warm water.

 

 

MAKE A PASTE

Pour approximately 1/2 teaspoon of powder into the palm of one hand and add a few drops of water to make a thin paste.

 

 

MASSAGE ON FACE

Massage over face with gentle strokes avoiding the eye area.

 

 

RINSE FACE

Rinse face thoroughly with warm water then follow with Farmtrue Ayurvedic Facial Oil.

Cleansing powder

I love this! My skin feels so good! All of the facial products are easy to use and feel the results. It took me a bit to get use to using the right amount of the powder to make the paste but it’s easy.

Hard to use

This product smells great and would probably feel good too if I could actually get it on my face! It says to put a very small amount in your palm and add water to make a paste and then apply. I have found a considerable amount (easily a tablespoon) is needed to make a “paste” and even then still hard to get it on to act as a cleanser.

We are grateful for your honest feedback, Deanna.   We understand there is a bit of education involved when using this product and see that we could have done a better job of mentioning that both your hands and face should be wet.  We recommend using a 1/2 teaspoon of powder to mix with water (if your hands are wet, you'll only need a few drops) to create the paste.  We've attached a video of how to use the powder to cleanse along with a photo of what 1/2 teaspoon looks like in a hand.  In the video, we actually used a 1/4 of a teaspoon of powder (our 1/2 tsp measuring spoon wouldn't fit in the jar! :) ).  If you find these tips to be helpful, we'd be happy to send you a refill.  We'd love to hear how it goes and if you have any other questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us at info@farmtrue.com.

Ayurvedic Cleansing Powder

I love this face cleansing powder so much! It feels so nice on my skin. It is so wonderful knowing that it is deeply nourishing and free from any unhealthy substances. I would love just a touch more texture in it so that I feel like I am getting a bit more of a scrub, but overall fabulous and this will be a regular part of my morning routine.
