Rich in anti-oxidants, Lemon Balm helps protect the skin against environmental stressors and is a calming source high in eugenol and tannins. Often called “the elixir of life”, Lemon Balm is great for acne and sunburned skin.

This calendula is grown here at Farmtrue – sure to be fresh and packed with skin-loving antioxidants and carotenoids that help stimulate collagen production while brightening one's complexion.

Widely used in aromatherapy, Rosemary rejuvenates and stimulates the skin, strengthening capillaries to slow the effects of aging. Rosemary is a powerful disinfectant, anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory to reduce the swollenness and puffiness of the skin. Rosemary is commonly used in skincare products as a natural preservative to extend the shelf life.

The anti-bacterial properties of Neem assist with skin conditions such as acne, blackheads, and dryness. Neem has a natural moisturizing effect and helps to balance the skin’s ph. Neem can help tone the skin and help restore a youthful glow.

Our Ayurvedic Body Oil is shipped with a cap on the bottle and includes a pump for dispensing. The viscosity of the body oil can change due to the weather and climate of the area where you’re located. The coconut oil and ghee that are healing and nourishing are actually thicker in composition than other oils and tend to solidify if not kept at a constant warm temperature.

If some of the oils do solidify, it can appear that there are small, granular-sized beads at the bottom of the bottle. Customers tend to enjoy this for an added layer of exfoliation and the beads of oil will melt into your skin during application. For those customers that would prefer a smoother texture, we suggest warming the body oil in a cup of warm water or in the shower to help liquefy all of the ingredients.

If pumping becomes too difficult, we suggest removing it from the bottle and running hot water through it to help melt away any oils that may have thickened in the mechanism or just pour directly from the bottle.

Gently exfoliate the skin using our raw silk garshana gloves.

Warm the oil if desired and massage it into the entire body. Let sit for up to 20 minutes before showering. The longer it sits the deeper it hydrates!

Shower, allowing the warm water to transport the oil deeper into the tissues. Do not wash with soap and use warm water as hot water can aggravate and dry out the skin further.

After showering, pat yourself dry leaving some oil on the skin to continue nourishing throughout the day. Be sure to thoroughly wash away any remaining oil off the shower floor with water and soap to prevent any slipping!

Our Revive Body oil is most beneficial during the late winter/early spring months to help warm and hydrate the skin. If your mind/body type or “dosha” is primarily Kapha and you have a tendency towards feeling cool, heavy, and lethargic. If you are feeling hot and dry.

The base oils used in this blend are light, warming, and hydrating. The herbs that we infuse into these oils are also cooling to the skin and calming to the mind. Together, the blend of oils and herbs work together to balance stagnation and heaviness.
